The confessional before you is ornate and well maintained, ebony colored wood embellished with the visage of two angels. A jet black curtain separates the confessional from the rest of the Church, offering a surprising degree of privacy to any eavesdroppers nearby. Unlike the rest of Krakow, the inside is dimly lit by a small light bulb securely attached to the ceiling which emits a faint red light. While the atmosphere isn't exactly cozy, it is private.
A smooth voice calls out to you once you've sat down, familiar enough to identify the speaker despite the partition between you.
"Welcome welcome. I take it something is on your mind?"We're in a museum now, Harry.

[He means that as a joke, don't go touching sculptures like that.]

Personally, I'm more of a fan of portraits. Seeing such a unique vision of a person is interesting, to say the least.

But speaking of the Desperate Man, do you find yourself empathizing with him tonight? [ Cause people are only out really late on Thursdays for one reason. Or because they lost track of time but that's a lot less exciting even if more believable because RIP clock. ]

[Welp. Here it comes.]
I have a feeling that the Lady won't be happy with me if I do it, though.

[He might even have a plan of how to murder them in the auto shop in mind anyway, since apparently they've been going there all week.]

[ Yup, very thrilled. ]

That said, I still think the Lady would eviscerate me, even if I got away with it. She seems practically demonic at times, doesn't she?
no subject
Sometimes, though she would make a particularly terrible demon.

Honestly, you should reward my bravery. Taking such risks on an unknown situation should be worth something, right?

If you get away with it, I'll provide you with protection up until the final day. But if you are caught, yet do succeed in actually upsetting her, I will settle one affair for you after your death within reason. And I will be the judge on the latter.

Both sound acceptable.
[Ah, but it's getting late, and he has work to do.]
Until the trial tomorrow, then?
no subject
Until trial. But that may be sooner than you think, given your intended victim and state of the clocktower.

[But yes off he goes, and then all the trial and everything happens and welp.]
