It does. But that's what truly fascinating about humans, you see? You struggle and crawl for what you believe in, placing your faith in God, in yourself, in an abstract notion of justice or another fanciful term. That belief, that faith is blinding, and given enough time and the right incentive, everything else falls to the wayside. What does it matter in search of that one ideal? Of that one future? Of that one desire?
